Shipping

The Baby Works only supplies products to addresses within South Africa.

Order processing time

Orders for products that are in stock will be shipped on the same day that the payments is reflected in the account of The Baby Works as per the payment conditions.

Should the order not be in stock an order will be placed with our supplier for the product, you will be notified of this via an e-mail.

Shipping costs

No shipping costs will be charged for all order with a value greater than R3 000.

For all orders below R3 000 a shipping charge of R250 will be charged.

Days on transit

The products will all be dispatched from our warehouse in Gauteng, the days in transit have been detailed below:
Products in stock: 2-5 working days
Products not in stock: 4-7 weeks.

Due to all of our products being imported the products that we do not have in stock take longer to get to you. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this waiting period, however, we know that when you receive the product it will have been worth the wait.

Please note that the above times are only estimates and that The Baby Works will not be obligated to refund the customer due to an overseas shipment being delayed by a shortage of stock by the supplier, bad weather conditions at sea, customs detaining shipment, SARS inspections or acts of God.

Shipping Delays

Whilst we will always try our best to get the orders delivered to you within a reasonable time, there are some things that are beyond our control such as the weather, delivery error and international shipping schedules. Should the shipment be delayed we will strive to get the goods to you within the shortest period of time and will keep in contact with you throughout the process so that you know exactly when to expect your product. Please contact us with any concerns or problems.

Refusal of delivery

If a package is refused for delivery, the customer will be responsible for shipping charges. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit for the purchase less the shipping charge. The purpose of this is to defray unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible. This does not apply to packages that have been damaged in shipping. Delivery not accepted by the customer or cancelled after shipment from our warehouse is subject to a restocking and administrative fee of 15%.

Incorrect shipping address

Packages that are returned to our warehouse or shipped with an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges. Orders that are later cancelled due to an incorrect address provided by the customer are also subject to shipping charges. Once we receive the product back in our warehouse we will issue a credit for the purchase price less the shipping charges. The Baby Works will not be responsible for parcels signed for at the delivery address provided.
